Having had its first reading in detail February <br />26th was passed to its second and third readings by unanimous consent of the, <br />Council by title under suspension of the rules and was placed for final pass- <br />age. All Councilment present voting AYE, absent None. The ordinance was <br />declared passed and numbered 8815. <br /> <br />Council Bill Number 3 relative to Rezoning Pac~ard's Addition was <br />brought up for consideration. Having had its first reading February 26th <br />was passed to its second and third readings by unanimous consent of the <br />Council by title under suspension of the rules and was placed for final pass- <br />age. All Councilmen present votinge AYE, 8absent none. The ordinance was <br />'declared passed and numbered 8816. <br /> <br />Council Bill Number 4, relative to Standard Milk Ordinance was sub- <br />mitted and upoh motion was ordered read the first time and referred to the <br />Health Board. Motion was carried. <br /> <br />A letter from the Naval Aid Auxiliary was submitted^and read- request- <br />ing permission to exhibit Jap War Material at lOth and Willamette in June, <br />1945. Motion was made by Hawn and seconded by Davis that City Manager be <br />instructed to grant the request and make arrangments for the exhibit. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Bailey and seconded by Hawn that the Council request <br />the Mayor not to call adjourned Council meetings on the 4th Monday of each <br />month, unless special business requires such meeting. The Council hereafter <br />to meet in regular session the second Monday of each month, or on call 'by the <br />Mayor or Council president. Motion was carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagoner, resident of West 8th Street, appeared before the Council <br />protesting presence of trailer and outdoor privy at 8th Street and Almaden. <br />Motion was made by Davis and seconded by Hawn that matter be referred to the <br />City Manager and City Attorney for investigation and report. Motion was <br />carried.
