(,a) the entire alley running North .and South between Olive and Willamette I and extending from 6th Street to 11th Street be made one way with all travel to I be SOu th bound. ' , (b) Between Willametlte and Oak Street, from 5th Street to 10th S.treet be made one way with all travel to be South bound, excepting the alley between I' 6th and 7th, Willamette and Oa~ Streets. . (c) All East and West alleys between 6th Street on the North, and 11th II Street on the South, and ulive street on the v'/est, Oak Street ~n the East, be made . one way alleys with all travel to enter the alleys from Willamette Street. I (d) Between Oa~ Street and Pearl Street and between Broadway and 10th I Street running North and South be made one way alleys, with the travel going south I.' and that the alley running East and West in this same block be made one way with travel going east. I:. All alleys may be entered by a left or right hand turn. Backing out of".an alley shall be qeemed violating the one way rule. That the foregoing be approved and the Chief of Police be and he is here- by directed to erect signs carrying the recommendation and resolution into effect." It was moved by Bailey, seconded by Hawn that the resolution be adopted. Motion I carried. I - I A resolution -- He: That U. Motion ~ carried. _ i i A resolution -- He: Reclassificatio~ of the old Dillard property at the 71 :Southwest corner of Broadway and Patterson Streets from a ~ingle family residence ! district to a business district was submitted and read as follows-: : "BE IT RESOLVED BY the Common Council of the City of Eugene that there : is hereby transmitted to the Planning Commission of the City of Eugene, a proposal : to change the classif ice tion of the old Dillard property at the Southwest corner ; of Broadway and Patterson Streets, Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, from a sing]. e fam- iily residence district to a business district. i : And directing the Planning Comm~ssion to adopt a Tentative Hepar t, and :to hold a hearing thereon in the Council Qh$.ID.bers in the City Hall in the Ci~y of ;Eugene, On Tuesday, October 9, 1945 at 7:30 P.M.~ After giving due notice by pub- :lication once in the Eugene Register Guard and they shall thereafter .make a final ireport and transmit the same to the Common Counc il wi th, their recommendation.
