Motion carried. 49 l Council Bill No. 53 -- He: Levying assessments for the improvement of I : Jefferson Street from 19th Avenue West to 24th Avenue West given first reading i by the Common Council November 12, 1945, was brought on for consideration. i The City Manager reported that notices of proposed assessments for the --- I , improvement have beeh mailed to the property owners in accordance with provisions I , ! of the law and further reported that no written protest had been filed. . Upon motion the Council Bill was ordered laid over to the next regular meeting of the Common Council and ordered referred to the Fire Committee.
