The Common Council is hereby authorized and directed to <br />issue and sell said bonds from time to time as they may be needed for the pur- <br />poses herein specified, but before any of them shall be sold, they shall be <br />advertised for sale according to law. <br /> <br />Section 6. The indebte,dness authorized by this amendment to the <br />Charter of the City of Eugene is in addition to all other indebtedness autho- <br />rized and incurred by the City of-Eugen~." <br /> <br />It was moved by Johnson, seconded by Allen that the resolution be ~dopted. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />'A resolution -- Re: Ballot proposal for'general tax levy of 1 7/10 <br />mills for recreational purposes within the City of Eugene, was submitted and read. <br /> <br />It was moved by Hawn, seconded by Johnson that the resolution be held over and <br />referred to Committee for further investigation and report.
