Mil tonberger of the Better Homes, Inc., the members of the Board of Appeals met at 2062 Hilyard Street to reconsider the request.. for a waiver of, set-back. Hill asking to be. allowed a ten foot setO-back from 28.th Avenue, on the' Ea'st side. of Potter Street for a new residence. The Board, after viewing the lot, recommends that he be allowed a twenty-foot set~back on Potter Street, and fifteen foot set~back on 28th Avenue. This is' a similar request a's made by another Auto Dealer for a structure on'12th Ave. East. The Board recommends that this req,uest be denied. I A reque.st was rec,eived from Cly.de E. Starr asking to be allowed to enlarge his house at 2278 Agate Street by b'uilding a six foot addition on the front of his house. The Board recommends that he be allowed to build within eleven fee.t. of the street, tine. , A reques,t was received from Mrs. 0'. E. Reber asking to be allowed a fifteen foot set-back on each street at th~ southeast corner of Hilyard Street and'Twenty-second Avenue. The Board ~ecommends that she be allowed only a twenty foot set-back.. ' . A request regarding a group of houses on the east side of Alder Street between 24t,h. and 25th Avenues has, been turn'ed over to the Planning Commission. A request was received from Ro,b,ert' M. Riley asking eighteen foot set-back from Onyx Street for' a new residence corner of the intersection of Onyx Street ahd 22nd Avenue. that there.quest be granted.. ' to be allowed an at the southwest' The Board recommends A request was received from George W. Miltonberger asking for a permit to convert a residence at 1394 Lawrence Street into four apartments. The Board recommends that this request be granted. A request has been r,eceived from Ralph H. Fulbright for. the Timber Structures, Inc. to be allowed to erect a. pre-fabricated plywood house on the South side of 25th Avenue between Agate and Columbia Streets. This is not a War constructed building, but is built. up of plywood panels glued onto a structural fr.ame, fabric.ated at. their. plant on North. Garfield Street. The Board is recom- mending that this type of construction be permitted in the City provided they are placed on a continuous concrete foundation and that the roof panels are covered w.i th Shingles or compos,i,tion rOOfing. A request was receiv.ed from Miss Myrtle M. Porter aSK1ng to be allowed a twelve foot set-back from the walk on both streets at the southwest corner of the intersection of 13th Avenue and Lawrence Street. The Board recommends she be granted only a fifteen foot set-back.." It was moved by Crumbaker, seconded by Hawn that the reports of the B~ard be amended and that the matter of application of Ross J.
