Starr asking to be allowed to <br />enlarge his house at 2278 Agate Street by b'uilding a six foot addition on the <br />front of his house. The Board recommends that he be allowed to build within <br />eleven fee.t. of the street, tine. <br /> <br />, A reques,t was received from Mrs. 0'. E. Reber asking to be allowed a <br />fifteen foot set-back on each street at th~ southeast corner of Hilyard Street <br />and'Twenty-second Avenue. A request regarding a group of houses on the east side of Alder Street <br />between 24t,h. and 25th Avenues has, been turn'ed over to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />A request was received from Ro,b,ert' M. Riley asking <br />eighteen foot set-back from Onyx Street for' a new residence <br />corner of the intersection of Onyx Street ahd 22nd Avenue. <br />that there.quest be granted.. Miltonberger asking for a permit to <br />convert a residence at 1394 Lawrence Street into four apartments. The Board <br />recommends that this request be granted. <br /> <br />A request has been r,eceived from Ralph H. Fulbright for. the Timber <br />Structures, Inc. to be allowed to erect a. pre-fabricated plywood house on the <br />South side of 25th Avenue between Agate and Columbia Streets. This is not a War <br />constructed building, but is built. up of plywood panels glued onto a structural <br />fr.ame, fabric.ated at. their. plant on North. Garfield Street. The Board is recom- <br />mending that this type of construction be permitted in the City provided they are <br />placed on a continuous concrete foundation and that the roof panels are covered <br />w.i th Shingles or compos,i,tion rOOfing. <br /> <br />A request was receiv.ed from Miss Myrtle M. Porter aSK1ng to be allowed a <br />twelve foot set-back from the walk on both streets at the southwest corner of the <br />intersection of 13th Avenue and Lawrence Street. The Board recommends she be <br />granted only a fifteen foot set-back.." <br /> <br />It was moved by Crumbaker, seconded by Hawn that the reports of the B~ard be <br />amended and that the matter of application of Ross J. Hill for set-back be set <br /> <br />over for further consideration by the Council, and that the balance of report be <br />approved.
