It was moved by Davis, seconded by Johnson that the petition be referred to the , Ci ty Manager. ORDINANCES Council Bill No. 86 -- Re: Levying of a tax upon theatrical and other ! exhibitions, shows and public amusements, introduced and read the first time April 28 I 8, 1946, was brought. on for consider.ation and read the second time. t It was moved by Crumbaker, seconded by Allen'that Council Bill No. 86 be referred back to the Finance Committee and City Manager for further consideration. Motion carried. , Council Bill No. 89 -- Re: Vacation of portion of Mission Avenue, was 29 i submitted and read for, the first time. It wa~ moved by Koppe, seconded by Crumbaker that the rules be suspended by I unanimous consent 'and the ordinance given second reading. Motion carried. i It was further moved by Koppe, seconded by Crumbaker that the rules be further sus- pended and the ordinance be given third reading and placed on final passage.
