<br /> A resolution -- Re: Authorizing the investment of surplus in approved

<br /> ~WHEREAS, the following funds of the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon,
<br /> viz.,
<br /> General Bond Sinking Fund, $20,000.00
<br /> Sewage Disposal Fund 17,000.00
<br /> Ci ty Hall Levy Fund 131000.-00
<br /> .Total 50,000.00
<br /> are now invested in approved securities and which securities will mature on
<br /> September 1, 1946; and
<br /> 'WHEREAS, the said City will have no need for any of said funds until
<br /> January 1, 1948, and that it is to the best interests and welfare of the City of
<br /> Eugene and its inhabitants to reinvest the proceeds of any of such securities as
<br /> may be paid on September 1, 1946;
<br /> THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE:
<br /> That the City Treasurer be and he is hereby directed and authorized to
