<br />The.,peti tion of James and Rosa Lajo.ie to rezone the west one-half of
<br />Lot 4, and all of Lot 5 in Block 13. of. Packard's Additlon,_ located at 586 Fourth
<br />Avenue West, from R-l, (single,family dwelling,) to thecla.ssifi ca ti.on- of R-2
<br />(hot mO.re than, 4 apartments.), which was referred to the" Board by the City Council
<br />on May 13, 1946, was considered. The Board would recommend that, as this parti-
<br />cular house is already listed as five apartments, the owners be permitted to con-
<br />t,inue to., use, the property as is.

<br />The Sch.ool, Board presented, a request for. a waiver of setback for a
<br />Gover.nment building to be placed ,on ,the, High. School" property at 18th and Lincoln
<br />and to. build an. addi tion to the present metal shop wi thin four. feet of the side--
<br />walk on-both streets, which would. make ,a blind corner. The Board recommends that
<br />the request be granted for the Government bUilding, but denied for the addition
<br />to the metal shop.
