<br />The regular meeting of the Common Council of Eugene held ~Erch 10, 194?
<br />at ?:30 P.M. The meeting was called to order by his Honor, Mayor Earl McNutt.
<br />Councilmen present at rollcall were - Hawn, Davis, Crumbaker, Bailey, Johnson,
<br />Allen and Wells. Pennington came in late.

<br />Upon motion the minutes of the last regular meeting held February 10,
<br />194?, were considered read and approved.
<br />
<br />This being the date set by the Common Council for the consideration of
<br />bids on various improvement projects, the City Manager reported the receipt of
<br />bids as follows, all of which had been previously publicly opened and scheduled
<br />as per the official published bid calls:

<br />1. The construction of a sanitary sewer on Elk Avenue from Fairmount
<br />to Hendricks Park - the following bids were presented:

<br />
<br />Bids were in proper order and accompanied by certified checks or bid
<br />bonds in the specified amounts.
<br />
<br />It was moved by Crumbaker, seconded by Davis, that the bid of Werner & Jeske in the
<br />sum of $1,625.00 be accepted and the City Manager authorized to make award.
<br />Rollcall - All Councilmen present voting AYE. Pennington absent.

<br />2. On the proposed improvement of the alley between High and the
<br />Millrace from Broadway to Tenth, the following bids were presented:

<br />in abeyance for further study and referred to the City Manager.

<br />4. On the proposed construction of a concrete sidewalk on Thirteenth
<br />! from Monroe to Almaden, the following - bids were presented:

<br />5. On the proposed construction of a concrete sidewalk on Kincaid
<br />Street from 25th to 26th Avenues, the following bids were presented:
