<br />Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, and also one-half of the vacated Maple Street ad-
<br />joining said lots, at. and for a total purchase price in the amount of $2,000.00,
<br />payable in cash, and thereafter Sam.. Mill.er McDonald, the purchaser aforesaid,
<br />paid the purchase price in. cash and the City caused its deed of conveyance to be

<br />was presented to the Council. and. upon. mO.tion was ordered..laid on the table.

<br />Attorney DonaldR. Husband appeared befor.e the.Counci.l. on behalf of his
<br />42 client Mr. Joe Chiaramonte stating that Mr. Chiaramonte was remodeling the Del
<br />Rey Cafe and installing bar facilities for operation under his present restaurant
<br />license. No action. was taken in the matter. by the Common Council.

<br />A deed for portions of West 17th and Friendly Avenue for street purposes.,.
<br />43 was submitted by C.W. Wilcox and upon motion the proper city officers were autho-
<br />rized. to accept the deed and file the same..

<br />A deed for street purposes was submitted by Mr. John R. Chapman and
<br />44 wife and upon motion this deed was ordered referred to the Judiciary Committee and
<br />City Attorney for' further study.
