Allen abse_nt. Counc.il Bill No. 220 -- Adopting the amended budget for the fiscal year 1947-1948 as submitted and approved by the City Budget Committee was submitted and read the first time. It was moved by Hawn, seconded by Davis that the rules be suspended by unanimous consent and the ordinance read the second time. It was moved by Hawn, seconded b~ Davis that the rules be further suspended and j the ordinance be read the third time and given final reading. All Councilmen present voting AYE, the ordinance was declared passed and numbered 9021. I A Resolution -- Re: Transmitting to .the Planning Commission rezoning I request, was submitted and read as follows: I I "BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City of Eugene, tha t th.ere is j hereby transmitted to the Planning Commission of said city the following petition for rezoning of property in said city to-wit: SPENCER R. COLLINS: Lot 4 and North 20 feet of Lot 5 in Block 2, Christian's Addition to Eugene, Oregon; and Lot 8 and the South 14.10 feet of Lot 5 in Block 2, of Christian's Addition to Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, except the West 53 feet of said tract, previ- ously zoned as business I and directing the Planning Commission, to adopt a tentative report and to hold a I hearing thereon in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of said City on Tuesday July 1, 1947, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., and in case of favorable report on said request, a hearing is hereby called to.be held at the City Hall at the next I ensuing regular Council meeting, commenc ing at 7: 30 o:"~clock P. M., notice of which ! shall be gi v,en three times in the Eugene Register-Guard. II Upon motion the resolution was ordered adopted. Motion carried. UPON MOTION THE COUNCIL WAS ADJOUR~TED. .
