IVJotion carried. <br /> It was moved by Pennington, seconded by Hawn that all bids received for the im- <br /> provement of 20th Jwenue West from Viashington to Jefferson, be rejected and that <br /> no contract for the improvement be awarded. IvJotion carr,ied. <br /> It was moved .by Bailey, seconded by Pennington that the City Manager investigate <br /> the matter of city-owned garbage collection service ,and report back his findings <br /> to the Common Council. <br /> .\ <br /> . <br /> UPON MOTION THE CO~~CIL ADJOURNED. <br /> I Mayor McNutt called upon persons present who are property owners subject to <br /> a$sessment for the improvements under consideration to be heard for or against <br /> the award of a contract based on the bids as submitted.
