<br />~WHEREAS, it is contemplated that from time to time the ,Municipal Judge of the
<br />City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, may b~ reason of temporary absence, illness or I.
<br />other disability, be temporarily unable to perform the duties of such judicial '
<br />officer; and I
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, it is to 'the best interests of the City of Eugene that Municipal .__
<br />Judge pro-tem be appointed and provided for in the case of such temporary inability , ,
<br />on the part of the Municipal Judge to perform his duties, , " '

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, 'BE IT ]i.ESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF EUGE1TE, ::
<br />Oregon, that in event of the temporary inability of the Municipal Judge to perform "
<br />the duties of the judicial officer of the City of Eugene for any cause, that the
<br />City lV18nager be and he is hereby authoriz,eq. and directed to appoint a Municipal
<br />Judge pro-tem, to act as judicial officer of the City of Eugene Q.uring the tem-
<br />porary disability of thep Munic.ipal Judge., Provided, however, that such appoint-
<br />ment by the City-Manager shall be one of the following designated persons, viz.,
<br />the duly appointed, qualified and acting City Recorder, or his substitute, or any
<br />duly licensed Attorney at Law practicing in the City of Eugene.- '. i:

<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that any Attorney aforesaid appointed to act as :'
