The meeting was called to order by his Honor, Mayor Earl McNutt. Councilmen present at rollcall were: Hawn, Crumbaker, Bailey., dohnson and Allen. Hanns and Wells came in at 8:00 :P.M. and Davis at 9:00 R.M. I Upon motion the minutes of the last regular meeting held February 24, 1948 were considered read and approved. I 1 Monthly estimates and approval for progress payments were submitted by the City Engineer as follows: L;\ First & Final payment to Cletus Kemp for improvement of Clark Avenue from Lincoln to Lawrence. $134.90 It: was moved by Crumbaker, seconded by Hawn that the estimate as approved be received and placed on file and that the proper city officers be authorized to make payment in accordance with the approved estimate. Motion carried. Rollcall-' All Councilmen present voting AYE. Davis, Hanns and Wells absent. First & Final payment to Cletus Kemp for improvement of 17th Avenue from Olive to Willamette. $530.44 It was moved by Crumbaker, seconded by Hawn that the estimate as approved be received and placed on file and that the proper city officers be authorized to make payment in accordance with the approved estimate. Motion carried. Rollcall All Councilmen present voting AYE. Davis, Hanns and Wells absent. First & Final payment to F. W. Riddle for improvement of the alley between 3rd and 4th, defferson to Madison. $2,623.95 1: It was moved by Crumbaker, seconded by Hawn that the estimate as approved be received and placed on file and that the proper city officers be authorized to make payment in accordance with the ?pproved estimate. First & Final payment to Maintenance Dept., City of Eugene for the improvement of the alley between 3rd and 4th, defferson to Madison. - $15.00 I. It was moved by dohnson, seconded by Crumbaker that th~ bills be approved and the proper city officers be authorized to issue warrants in payment of the same. Rollcall -,All Councilmen present voting AYE. Davis, Hanns and Wells absent. Seventh payment to Beebe, Werner & deske for installation of Amazon " ,'" Interceptor, Part II. $1,827.50 It was moved by Crumbaker, seconded by Hawn that the estimate as approved be received and placed on file and that the proper city officers be authorized to , make payment in accordance with the approved estimate. First & Final payment to Elmer Williams for improvement of 13th Ave. from Chambers to Grant St. I J 143.00 It was moved by Crumbaker, seconded by Hawn that the estimate as approved be received and placed on file and that the proper city officers be authorized to make payment in accordance with the approved estimate.
