MGTION CARRIED. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />IT WAS MOVED BY CRUMBAKER, SECONDED BY HAWN THAT THE COUNCIL GO ON RECORD AS OPPOSING THE <br />PROVISIONS OF HOUSE BILL No. 254 PROVIDING THAT MUNICIPALITIES MUST LET CONTRACTS ON ALL PROJECTS~ <br />EXCEPT MAINTENANCE, TO COST IN EXCESS or 35,000.00 AND SENATE BILL No. 94 PROVIDING FOR LIMITATIONS <br />OF HOURS OF FIREMEN TO 72 HOURS PER WEEK. MOTION CARRIED. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />IT WAS MOVED BY DAVIS~ SECONDED BY HAWN THAT THE COUNCIL ALSO GO IN RECORD AS OPPOSING ANY <br />LEGISLATIVE PROPOSITION TO PROVIDE FOR AN INCREASE IN HIGHWAY REVENUES WHICH WOULD N4T BE SUBJECT <br />TO SHARING WITH THE CITIES AND COUNTIES ON THE BASIS PROVIDED FOR IN CHAPT~R 425, OREGON LAWS, <br />1947.
