THE WRITER OWNS THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF INTERSECTION, WITH <br />SAME FRONTAGE ON FERRY S~REET. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />WHEN I PURCHASED OUR CORNER"A FEW YEARS AGO, THIS DEAD END FERRY STREET WAS IN A <br />DEPLORABLE CONDITION. T~E LUTHERAN eHURCH, AND I, GOT TOGETHER AND WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF <br />THE STREET DEPARTMENT (WE FURNISHING THE COST or- ROAD MATERIAL USED THEREON YEAR TO YEAR, OR <br />WHEN NECESSARY), WE NOW HAVE A USABLE ROADWAY. <br /> <br />THE LUTHERAN CHURCH HAS A LARGE CONGREGATION, WITH VERY LIMITED PARKING SPACE AVAILABLE, <br />- . , <br />HENCE, IN ORDER TO PARK THE GRE~TEST NUMBER OF CARS DURING ~HEIR SERVICES; PARK HEAD-ON <br />INTO THE SiDEWALK ON BOTH SIDES OF THIS DEAD-END STREET; HE~CE BY THIS METHOD THE CENTER OF <br />I <br />THIS DEAD-END IS LEFT OPEN FOR MOVEMENT OF CARS ETC. <br /> <br />AS THE CARS PARK UP AGAINST MY SIDEWALK, AND AS SOME ADDITIONAL FILL NECESSARY, THE <br />CHURCH, MR.
