<br />As SHOWN ON THE TABULATION OF BIDS, THE PROPOSAL SUBMITTED JOINTLY BY THE COAST
<br />CONSTRUCTION AND [XC. COMPANY AND THE C. D. JESKE, GENERAL CONTRACTOR, WAS THE LOW
<br />PROPOSAL FOR THE WORK UNDER CONSIDERATION. THEIR PROPOSAL PROVIDES FOR 160 WORKING
<br />DAYS FOR THE COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT.

<br />MR. C. D. JESKE AND MR. JOSEPH L. COOLEY HAVE BEEN IN THE CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS
<br />FOR A GOOD MANY YEARS. THEY HAVE CONSTRUCTED WORK SIMILAR TO THE WORK UNDER CONSIDERA-
<br />TION, AND IT IS OUR OPINION THAT THEY ARE FULLY QUALIFIED TO CARRY OUT THE WORK IN A
<br />SATISFACTORY MANNER FOR THE CITY OF EUGENE. WE, THEREFORE, RECOMMEND THAT THE PRO-
<br />POSAL AS SUBMITTED BY THE COAST CONSTRUCTION AND [XC. COMPANY TOGETHER WITH C. D.
<br />JESKE, GENERAL CONTRACTOR, BE ACCEPTED AND THAT THE CITY OF EUGENE ENTER INTO A
