Metropolitan Wastewater Management Commission Eugene Budget Detail <br /> <br />The Sampling Team is respOnsible for all of the sampling activities related to regional <br />wastewater program functions. These include the Eugene pretreatment program, wastewater <br />treatment process control, effluent and ambient water quality, groundwater quality, facultative <br />sludge lagoons, and stormwater samples. This section also evaluates and reports on the <br />sampling data for various programs. <br /> <br />MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SERVICES (MIS) <br />The MIS section provides services for electronic data gathering, analysis, and reporting as <br />necessary in compliance with regulatory requirements and management functions. This section <br />also maintains the electronic communication linkages with the City of Eugene and the Regional <br />Information System, and supplies technical expertise and assistance in the selection, operation, <br />and modification of computer systems (hardware and software) within the Division. <br /> <br /> PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br /> Management of wastewater system improvements and ongoing developments is carried out by <br /> the Project Management staff. Activities include problem-solving and action recommendations, <br /> project management, technical research, computer-aided design and electronic storage of design <br /> drawings, and planning of projects to anticipate and prepare for new regulatory and operational <br /> requirements. The Project Management staff develops Request for Proposals and Request for <br /> Quotes, coordinates special project activities between work sections, and coordinates the <br /> procurement of building permits as necessary in support of project activities. <br /> <br /> Review Draft April 21, 2005 Page 47 FY 04-05 BUDGET AND C~ <br /> <br /> <br />
