MOTION CARRIED. <br /> <br />RESOLUT.I ONS <br /> <br />38 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - RE: PARKING AND STOP SIGN RESTRICTIONS WAS SUBMITTED AND READ AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />"WHEREAS, ORDINANCE No. 10419, PASSED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE ON <br />APRIL 26, 1954, AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR ON APRIL 27, 1954, PROVIDES THAT PARKING AND <br />STOP SIGN RESTRICTIONS ON THE STREETS OF THE CITY OF EUGENE WHICH ARE ESTABLISHED AFTER <br />THE DATE OF THE PASSAGE OF SAID ORDINANCE SHALL BE ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION, AND <br /> <br />WHEREAS, THE COMMON COUNCIL, AFTER INVESTIGATION, CONSULTATION AND STUDY, HAS <br />DETERMINED THAT ADDITIONAL PARKING REGULATIONS AND STOP SIGN RESTRICTIONS SHOULD BE <br />ESTABLISHED, <br /> <br />New, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL Of THE CITY or EUGENE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />I. THAT "YI ELD RI GHT OF WAY" SI GNS ON HARRI S STREET ON THE NORTH AND SOUTH <br />SIDES OF 22ND AVENUE BE INSTALLED TO REMIND MOTORISTS TRAVELLING HARRIS STREET IN A <br />NORTHERLY OR SOUTHERLY DIRECTION THAT THEY SHOULD YIELD RIGHT OF WAY TO TRAFFIC ON <br />THEIR RIGHT. <br /> <br />2. THAT THIRTY (30) MINUTE PARKING BE ESTABLISHED ON BOTH SIDES OF 4TH AVENUE <br />FROM BLAIR BOULEVARD EAST TO JACKSON STREET AND THAT TRUCK PARKING BE PROHIBITED IN <br />THE FIRST PARKING SPACE ON THE EAST SIDE OF BLAIR BOULEVARD NORTH OF 4TH AVENUE. <br /> <br />3.
