THEY NOW 0BJECTf:D, TO HAVING THIS <br />PAVING REMOVED AND REGULAR CONCRETE ALLEY PAVING INSTALLED. THE OPPOSING PETITIONERS <br />REQUESTED THAT THE COMMITTEE GIVE THEM AN OBPORTU.ITYTO CIRCULATE AN OPPOSITION PETITION. <br /> <br />THE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDED THAT THE ITEM BE HELD IN COMMITTEE TO ENABLE TaE OBJ~CTORS <br />TO HAVE SUFFICIENT TIME TO DETERMINE WHAT ABUTTING PROPERTY HOLDERS WERE IN OPPOSITION <br />TO THIS IMPROVEMENT. <br /> <br />5. NEAR ,S~HOOLS SO THAT CHILDREN WOULD NOT HAVE TO WALK IN THE,' <br />STREET TO GET ,TO AND FROM SCHoaL., AFTER I T WAS POI NTED ,OUT THAT. THE ASSESSMENT FOR THE, <br />SIDEWALK WOULD, UNDER ,NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES, .OT BE MAOE UNTIL APPROX~MATELY JANUARY OF 1957 <br />OR AFTER THAT TIME, REVEREND Huss WITHDREW HIS 08JECT~ON AND INDICAT~D THAT HIS CHURCH <br />WOULD THEN BE IN A FINANCIAL POSITION TO HANDLE THE SIDEWALK ASSESSMENT. <br /> <br />:1 <br /> <br />THE COMMITTEE TOOK NO FORMAL ACTION FOLLOWING THE REMOVAL OF THE OBJECTION. <br /> <br />~ <br />
