CLARENCE UREY HAS BEEN ACTIVE IN SECURING PERMANENT RIGHTS-OF-WAY FOR <br />THE AMAZON PROJECT WHICH THE CORPS OF ENGINEERS EXPECT TO START SOME TIME THIS <br />COMING MAY. HIS LAST REPORT BEfORE 'GOING ON VACATION WAS THAT ALL RIGHTS-Of- <br />WAY HAVE BEEN SECURED EXCEPT FOUR'DIFFERENT PIECES Of PROPERTY. MR. UREYRE- <br />QUESTED PERMISSION TO AGAIN CONTACT THESE FOUR PROPERTY OWNERS AfTER HIS RETURN <br />AS HE THOUGHT THAT SOME OF THEM WOULD GIVE THE EASEMENT HAVING HAD SUFFICIENT <br />TIME TO THINK ABOUT IT. A FULL REPORT WILL BE GIVEN AT A LATER DATE. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />THE CITY ~AS RECEIVED THE SIGNED AGREEMENT FROM THE UNIVERSITY ON THE <br />MILLRACE PROJECT WHICH WAS SET UP IN THIS YEAR'S BUDGET.
