<br />"WHEREAS, SECTION 28.6 Of THE EUGENE CITY CODE, ENTITLED MOTOR VEHICLES AND
<br />TRAFfIC, PROVIDES THAT AREAS WHERE PARKING IS PROHIBITED OR RE-
<br />STRICTED ON THE STREETS OF THE CITY OF EUGENE WHICH ARE. ESTABLISHED
<br />AFTER THE DATE OF THE ADOPTION Of SAID CODE SHALL BE ESTABLISHED BY
<br />RESOLUT~ON; AND /

<br />WHEREAS, THE COMMON COUNCIL Of THE CITY O,F EUGENE AFTER AN INVESTIGATION, CON-

<br />ING SHOULD BE CHANGED fROM ~ TWELVE,MINUTE PARKING AREA TO A SIXTY
<br />MINUTE PARKING AREA, AND OTHER AREAS Of STREETS WHERE PARKING SHOULD
<br />BE CHANGED fROM A SIXTY MINUTE PARKING AREA TO A ~WENTY-fOUR MINUTE

<br />AVENUE BETWEEN PEARL AND HIGH STREET, SHALL BE REMOVED AND
<br />REPLACED WITH A PARKING METER PROVIDING fOR SIXTY MINUTE
<br />PARKING.

<br />METER NUMBER 955, WHICH IS AT PRESENT A PARKING SPACE AND

<br />EAST SIDE Of PEARL STREET AND WHICH IS THE FIRST PARKING
<br />SPACE SOUTH Of THE EUGENE HOTEL LOADING ZONE, BETWEEN BROAD-
