THE STEWART GUM CONDEMNATION FOR A 399' EASE- <br />MENT IS THE FIRST TO BE TRIED, IN WHICH THE CITY PLACED IN THE COURT $440 AS EARNEST <br />MONEY. THE CITY ATTORNEY'S CALCULATIONS INCLUDE THAT THE COST OF THE CONDEMNATION <br />COULD BE AS HIGH AS $2500. HIS RECOMMENDATION WOULD BE TO ATTEMPT A SETTLEMENT OUT <br />OF COURT OF THIS CONDEMNATION FOR $1150. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />THE SECOND CONDEMNATION IS ON THE ARNIE CHRISTOFFERSON PROPERTY. THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />POINTED OUT THAT THIS EASEMENT WAS FOR' 159' AND THE C,TY'S EARNEST MONEY IN COURT WAS <br />$170. THE CITY ATTORNEY'S CALCULATIONS INCLUDE THAT THE COST OF THE CONDEMNATION <br />THROUGH THE COURTS WOULD BE AS HIGH AS $1910. HIS RECOMMENDATION WOULD BE TO ATTEMPT <br />TO SETTLE THIS CONDEMNATION OUT OF COURT FOR $1000 WHICH WOULD INCLUDE THE TITLE TO <br />A 60' LOT WHICH THE PROPERTY OWNER HAS CLAIMED TO BE DAMAGED.
