BACKING TYPE ACCIDENTS - A LETTER FROM THE MAYOR'S TRAFFIC SAFETY COMMITTEE DATED <br />FEBRUARY 26, 1962 ~AS .READ REGARDING AN EDUCATIONAL CAMPAIGN AMONG DRIVERS OF COM- <br />MERCIAL VEHICLES RELATIVE TO BACKING TYPE ACCIDENTS WHICH IS TO BE A MAJOR PROJECT OF <br />TH1S COMMITTEE FOR 1962. DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME - A LETTER FROM HOWARD WICKLUND SPORTING GOODS DATED_MARCH 15,1962 <br />RECOMMENDING THAT EUGENE GO ON DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME THIS SUMMER, AND A LETTER FROM <br />GOVERNOR HATFIELD DATED MARCH B, 1962 URGING RET~NTION OF STANDARD TIME WERE READ AND <br />RECEIVED AND PLACED ON FILE. <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />I I. SEWERAGE WORKS SHORT SCHOOL - A LETTER FROM THE OREGON STATE SANITARY AUTHORITY <br />DATED MARCH 12, 1962 WAS READ ACKNOWLEDGING THE ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION OF <br />EUGENE CITY EMPLOYES FROM THE SEW~GE TREATMENT PLANT AT THE ANNUAL SEWERAGE WORKS <br />SHORT SCHOOL HELD AT OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY. THE LETTER WAS RECEIVED AND PLACED <br />ON FILE. <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br />12. ALLEY BETWEEN OAK AND PEARL, BROADWAY TO PARK - MR. DEVERELL MENTIONED THE UNSIGHTLY <br />CONDITION OF THIS ALLEY, AND MR.
