FIVE PROPERTY <br />OWNERS SPOKE IN fAVOR Of THE PAVING, fOUR Of THEM RESIDING ON GARDEN AVENUE, STATING <br />THE AREA IS BADLY IN NEED Of STORM SEWERS AND PAVED STREETS. LLOYD LOVELL HAD OFFERED TO pURCHASE THREE LOTS fOR <br />,THE PURPOSE OF ENLARGING KINNEY PARK IN SUNNY HOLLOW. THEY WOULD PURCHASE T~E LOTS <br />AT NOT MORE THAN $1200 EACH, INCLUDING SEWER INSTALLATION, WITH CLEAR TITLE TO EACH <br />LOT, PROVIDING THE CITY ALSO BUYS THREE LOTS, AND HOLD THE LOTS fOR A MINI~UM OF FIVE <br />YEARS WITH THE INTENTION Of SELLING THEM TO THE CITY fOR A PERMANENT ADDITION TO <br />KINNEY PARK. THE CITY MANAGER INDICATED THIS IS A FEASIBLE PLAN AS THE CITY COULD <br />FINANCE THE PURCHASE Of THEIR THREE LOTS fROM THE SALE Of CITY PROPERTY AT 36TH AND <br />HILYARD SOUTH OF SUNSET HOME fOR WHICH THERE IS NO ANTICIPATED USE fOR PARK PURPOSES. <br />THE COMMITTEE ON MOLHOLM-SWANSON MOTION RECOMMENDED APPROVAL OF THE PLAN AS PRE- <br />SENTED WITH DETAILED AC~ION TO BE APPROVED AT A fUTURE TIME. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />IT WAS MOVED BY MRS.
