<br /> BILITYSTUDY TO DETERMINE THE COST OF ELIMINATING THE INTERSECTION JOGS ON WASHINGTON AND JEFFERSON
<br /> STREETS AT 13TH AVENUE, ALSO TO INVESTIGATE THE COST OF CONSTRUCTION OF THE 1ST TO 4TH CONNECTOR.

<br /> IT'WAS SUGGESTED THAT THE REPORT ALSO CONTAIN SOME MENTION CONCERNING THE POSSIBILITY OF ADDING 5TH
<br />I AND 8TH AVENUES TO THE ONE-WAY STREET GRID SYSTEM.
<br /> 2 COUNCILMAN DEVERELL ASKED IF ANYTHING COULD BE DONE ABOUT THE EXTREMELY HEAVY TRAFFIC ACCUMULATION
<br /> IN THE DOWNTOWN CORE AREA BETWEEN 4:00 AND 5:30 P.M. THE TRAFFIC ENGINEER STATED THE PROBLEM CREATED
<br /> THIS DAY WAS PROBABLY DUE TO THE BEGINNING Of SCHOOL, RAIN AND THE CHANGE BACK TO STANDARD TIME.
<br /> 3 COUNCILMAN WILSON ASKED IF THE SIGNALS ON 6TH AND 7TH AVENUES COULD BE SPEEDED UP, AND THE TRAFFIC
<br /> ENGINEER REPLIED THAT If THEY WERE IT WOULD BE VERY CONfUSING TO CROSS STREET TRAffiC.
<br /> 4 MR. MOLHOLM INQUIRED WHEN THE SIGNAL AT 1ST AVENUE AND VANBUREN STREET WOULD BE INSTALLED AND WAS
<br /> ADVISED BY THE TRAFfiC ENGINEER IT WOULD BE PUT IN IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
