VACATION PORTION ELK AVENUE, DON FURTICK - AN APPRAISAL OF THE VALUATION OF THE PROPERTY <br />PROPOSED FOR VACATION HAD BEEN SECURED INDICATING A VALUATION OF $100 PLACED UPON IT. THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS REPORTED THERE WOULD BE A SEWER ASSESSMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$99.90 AGAINST THIS PROPERTY, AND RECOMMENDED THAT SHOULD THE STREET BE VACATED AN <br />EASEMENT BE RETAINED WHICH WOULD PROTECT THE EXTENSION OF THE STORM SEWER AT SOME FUTURE <br />TIME. MR. CHRISTENSEN MOVED SECONDED BY MRS. LAURIS NOT TO VACATE THE STREET AT THIS <br />TIME. MOTION CARRIED, MESSRS. SWANSON, DEVERELL AND HAWK VOTING NO. <br /> <br />MR. CHATT MOVED SECONDED BY MRS.
