<br />1 Mr. Cliff Cook presented a sketch showing the approach to Larkwood Subdivision,
<br /> and stated he would donate 6 feet on each side of Spragpe Street to widen the approach
<br /> to the subdivision and install a divider strip for a short distance in the. middle of
<br />I the proposed widening, dressing up the area with an entrance wall on each side of
<br /> brick and install a street light on each side of the approach.
<br /> Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Dr. Purdy to accept Mr. Cook's proposal and accept the
<br /> 6-foot right-of-way on both sides of Sprague Street at the entrance to Larkwood Sub-
<br /> division. Motion carried.

<br />e 2 Council Bill No. 6355 - Dispensing with election in City on annexation of Lombard Subdivision
<br /> was submitted and read the first time in full on October 14, 1963, and held over for further considera-
<br /> tion, brought back for second reading on October 28~ 1963 amended to exclude the Mann property, and
<br /> again held over for second reading, lacking unanimous consent for reading by council bill number only
<br /> and not being read the second time in full, and now brought back again for second reading.
<br /> Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mr. Swanson that the council bill be read the second time by council
<br /> bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion defeated, Mr. Christensen voting no.
