Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mr. Swanson that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. 00 2 Resolution No. 997 - Authorizing abatement at 1240 Chambers Street (Burkett-Kommer) was sub- ,~ mitted and read in full. ~ ~-~ Mrs, Lauris moved seconded by Mr. Swanson that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. :Q ::0 3 Resolution No. 998 - Approving preliminary loan application for low-rent housing from Federal government and approving and authorizing execution of co-operative agreement with Housing Authority and Urban Renewal Agency of Lane County by John O. Chatt, Acting Mayor and Council President in the absence of the Mayor, was submitted and read in full. e Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mr. Swanson that the resolution as amended to provide for 150 units instead of 200 units, and to provide that contract be entered into with Federal government by December 31, 1963, be adopted. Motion carried, on rollcall vote, Mr. Chatt, Mrs, Lauris, and Messrs. Hawk and Purdy voting yes; Messrs. Swanson, Christensen, and Deverell voting no. 4 Resolution No. 999 - Traffic regulations and parking restrictions (Sacred Heart area, 8th and I Willamette, University) was submitted and read in full. Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mr, Swanson that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. 5 Resolution No. 1000 - Calling hearing on December 9;t963 withdrawing from Eugene Fire District No. 1 those areas annexed to the City on August 12, 1963' (2825 Monroe and Lots 54 and 55, City View Park) was submitted and read in full. Mrs. Lauris moved-seconded by Mr, Swanson that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. 6 ResolutionNo. 1001 - Calling hearing December 9, 1963 on withdrawing from College Crest Water District that area annexed to the City of Eugene on August 12, 1963 (2825 Monroe) was submitted and read in full. Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mr. Swanson that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. 7 Resolution No. 1002 - Calling hearing on December 9, 1963 withdrawing from Bethel Water District that area annexed to the City on.June 24, 1963 (west of Bertelson Road, north of SouthemPacific Coos Bay line) was submitted and read in full. Mrs, Lauris moved seconded by Mr. Swanson that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. 8 Resolution No. 1003 - Calling hearing on December 9, 1963 withdrawing from Ratnbow Water District that area annexed to the City on July 22, 1963 (North Meadows-Harlow Road) was submitted and read in full. I Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mr. Swanson that the resolution be adopted. 'Motion carried.
