Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mr. Chatt that the bill be read the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous ronsent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the second time by council bill numberonly. Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mr. Chatt that the rules be suspended and" the bill read the third time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the third time by council bill number only. Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mr. Chatt that the bill be approved and given final passage. Rollcall vote. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered13562. 2 Council Bill No. 6720 - Adopting plans and specifications for sanitary sewer in area between 26th Avenue and 27th-Avenue to between 27th Avenue and 27th Place from Washington Street to Jefferson e Street was submitted and read in full. RESOLUTIONS 3 Resolution No. 1081 - Removal of parking from west side of Agate Street south of 19th Avenue; and from west side of Oak Street south of 29th Avenue; also modernization of traffic signals at various intersections, was submitted and read in full. Motion carried. 4 Resolution No. 1082 - Parking restriction on south side of 5th Avenue from Olive Street to Charnelton Street; yield signs on Grant Street between 7th Avenue and 13th Avenue; and removal of five meters from west side of High Street between 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue, was submitted and read in full. Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mr. Chatt that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. 5 Resolution No. 1083 - Variance to allow medical center building at 12th Avenue and Patterson Street (Consonant, Inc.) was submitted and read in full~ I Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mr. Chatt that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried, Mr. Christen- sen voting no. 6 Resolution No. 1084 - Conveying to Lane County for road purposes a 10'x875' strip of land in Leaburg Canal right-of-way (EWEB) was submitted and read in full. Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mr. Chatt that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. e 7 Resolution No. 1085 - Assignment of easement to Bonneville Power Administration to allow tap of BPA line south of Dillard Substation (ElVEB) was submitted and read in full. Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mr. Chatt that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. 8 Resolution No. 1086 - Quitclaim deed exchanging easement on Lot 14 between Sunset Drive and Skyline Boulevard (Rubenstein) was submitted and read in full. Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mr. Chatt that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. 9 Resolution No. 1087 - Transmitting to Planning Commission various petitions for rezoning, variance to zoning, and zoning newly-annexed area for hearing July 7, 1964 and July 27, 1964, was submitted and read in full. Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Mr. Chatt that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried.
