<br /> 34~ <br />e <br /> 6/22/65 <br />I City Hall <br /> Council Chamber <br /> Eugene, Oregon <br /> June 22, 1965 <br /> A special meeting of the Common Council of the city of Eugene, Oregon, was called to order by His <br /> Honor Mayor Edwin E. Cone at 11:30 a.m. PDT on June 22, 1965 in the Council Chamber with the following <br /> councilmen present: Mr. Chatt, Mrs. Lauris, Messrs. Crakes, McNutt, Anderson' and Lassen. Councilmen <br /> Hawk and Purdy were absent. <br /> Notice of the special meeting called for 11:30 a.m. PDT June 22, 1965 as signed by the Mayor and <br /> conveyed to all Council members was received and filed. <br /> 1 Appointment. Municipal Judge - Recommendations on three candidates for the position of municipal judge <br /> for the city of Eugene had been made by the Municipal Judge Candidate Screening Committee, and the three <br />e candidates had been interviewed by Council members on June 17, 1965. <br /> Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris to appoint Mr. Frank Bocci to the position of municipal judge, <br /> effective July 1, 1965, with the starting salary of $600.00 per month. Rollcall vote. All councilmen <br /> present voting aye, motion carried. <br /> 2 Reconstitution. Central Lane Planning Council ~ It was suggested that Resolution 1193 adopted by the <br /> Council at its meeting on June 14, 1965 be amended with regard to representation for the city of Eugene <br />I on the Planning Council. <br /> Mr. Crakes moved seconded by Mr. Chatt to appoint Councilman Anderson to represent the City on the <br /> Central Lane Planning Council, and to amend Resolution 1193 adopted on June 14, 1965 by deleting <br /> the name of Hugh McKinley as representative of the City and inserting the name of Lester Anderson. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> On motion duly made, seconded, and carried, the meeting adjourned. <br />I <br />e <br />I <br />e <br /> 11_ 6/22/65 - 1 Il~ <br />
