<br /> Council Chanber,at 7:30 p.m'- PDT.on September-13, 1965 by:His Honor Mayor Edwin E.Cone with-the
<br /> following councilmen present: Mr. Chatt, Mrs. Lauris, Messrs. Crakes, Purdy, 'McNutt, Anderson, and
<br /> Lassen. Mr. Hawk was absent.

<br /> Minutes of the adjourned meeting held on August 23, 1965,as mailed to members of the Council,
<br /> were approved.
<br /> NEW BUSINESS
<br />1 Mayor Cone introduced Mr. Alberto Uva, a new~paper reporter visiting the United States from Portugal
<br /> under sponsorship of the State Department. e
<br /> Bid Openings
<br />2 Wrecking Houses 901-90i~ Chambers and 900 Almaden. Opening Broadway from Almaden to Chambers,
<br /> September 1, 1965
<br /> Peter Ruzicka offered to pay the City $100 and remove the houses.
<br /> Mr. Chatt moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris to accept Mr. Ruzicka's offer. Rollcall vote. All council- I
