Bernik - The Planning Commission recommended,appro.val of a 2~foot strip of this ease~ ment since a duplex had been constructed inadvertently into that portion. Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Dr. Purdy to approve the ~equested vac~tion. Motion carried. 3 Planning Commission Report - October 11. 1965 1. Vac~tion streets and alleys. East Campus Development,Area - ~he Planning Commission e recommended approval of vacation of Emerald Street: from 13th to franklin B01,1levard;: alley between Agate and Columbia from 15th to south line of Lot 15, and Lot 7, Block 4, Amended Plat of Fairmount Addition; and alley between Agate and Columbia from 15th to 17th, as requested by .tlie Urban Renewal Agency'and University of O~egon in connection with the East Ca~pus Development plan. Also Columbia from 15th to 17th. Mr,. Lauris moved ,econded hy Dr. Purdy to approve the va~ation' req~e'ted. Motion carried. Rust (U;S.National Bank)(65-003) ~ This request'had been tabled at the October iI, 1965'Council meeting pending notification to the petitioner that it would be considered again, having been tabled p~eviously on February 24, 1965.
