<br />The regular meeting of the Common Council of the ci~y of E~gene, Oregon was called to order at
<br />7:30 p.m. in the Council 'Chamb~r on'December 13, 1965 by His Honor Mayor Edwin E. Cone with tqe

<br />Minutes of the Council meeting held on November 22, 1965, as mailed to members of the Council, were
<br />approved.

<br />
<br />1 Council President Ghatt stated that the Cou'ncil reco~ended the follo~i~g people as members of
<br />the Urban Redevelopment Commission, and moved, seconded by Mr. Crakes, that they be appointed. Mo- ~
<br />tion carried. _

<br />2 Mayor Cone announced the appointment of Councilmen Purdy and Lassen as members of the commit'tee
<br />which will study the metropolitan sewer problem. Other members of the committee will be representa-
<br />tives of Lane County and of the city of Springfield.
<br />
<br />3 The City Manager announced that a meeting will be held Friday, December 17, 1965, 7:3q p.m., at
<br />Adams Elementary School, 950 West 22nd~Avenue, to discuss and answer questions regarding the proposed
<br />neighborhood improvement program in the area between Adams and Jefferson Streets from 23rd to 28th
<br />Avenue.
<br />
<br />4 Councilman Lassen questioned the traffic engineer concerning the new traffic pattern at 11th
<br />Avenue and Garfield Street and asked if the pavement markings were to be changed. Mr. Lassen was
<br />assured that the markings would be changed.

<br />Phase VI of the Willakenzie Sewers. Rollcall vote. All councilmen present voting aye, motion carried.
