All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 14508. 1 Council Bill No. 7679 - Sidewalk in Westmoreland Area I (Chambers from 18th to 23rd; Pierce from 18th to 23rd; Grant, Hayes, Garfield, and Arthur from 18th to 22nd; City View from 18th to 23rd; east side, and from 18th to 22nd, west side; 22nd from Chambers to City View) was submitted and read in full. Motion carried. 4 Resolution 1308 - Authorizing agreement between Lane County, Springfield, and Eugene concerning air pollution control for period ending June 30, 1967, was submitted and read in full. Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Dr. Purdy that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. I 5 Resolution 1309 - Autha.dzing application for Air Pollution Control grant, $19,224.00, was sub- mitted and read in full. . Motion carried. 6 Resolution No. 1310 - Approving University of Oregon Beautification Program was submitted and read in full. e Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Dr. Purdy that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. 7 Resolution No. 1311 - Adopting City of Eugene Beautification Program was submitted.and read in full. Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Dr. Purdy that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. 8 Resolution No. 1312 - Authorizing application for Federal Urban Beautification grant, $72,345.00, was submitted and read in full. Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Dr. Purdy that the resolution be adopted. . Motion carried. 9 Resolution No. 1313 - Variance to allow truck and other heavy equipment repair and storage at 110 Danebo Avenue in AR Agricultural zone (Allum Bros.) was submitted, not read, and held pending referral back to Planning Commission. I 10 Resolution No. 1314 - Authorizing agreement with Earle D. Heckman and Atlas Foundry and Machine Company concerning use of patented manhole cover in City sewer oonstruction was submitted and read in full. Mrs. Lauris moved seconded by Dr. Purdy that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. 11 Resolution No. 1315 - Transmitting to Planning Commission various requests for rezoning and variances, Planning Commission hearing July 5, 1966, Council hearing.July 25, 1966, was submitted and e read in full.
