The Manager said it could be so stated in the resolution. <br /> <br />Mr. Lassen moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris to adopt the resolution. Motion carried. <br /> <br />2 Resolution 1500 - Authorizing variance in RA Outer Residential on west side of Willamette Street <br />between 36th Avenue and 37th Avenue for duplex (Cargill) was submitted and read in full. <br /> <br />Mr. Lassen moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris to adopt the resolution. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />Resolution 1501 - Submitting to voters at May 28, 1968 primary election a Charter amendment <br />authorizing annexation of areas when danger to public health exists, was submitted and read infull. <br /> <br />Mr. Lassen moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />Resolution 1502 - Authorizing application through Lane County Housing Authority for 300 addi- <br />tional dwelling units under leased-housing program, was submitted and read in full. <br /> <br />Mr. Lassen moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris to adopt the resolution. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5 Resolution 1503 - Reaffirming City policy of providing equal opportunity for employment was <br />submitted and read in full. <br /> <br />Mr. Lassen moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. <br /> <br />6 Resolution 1504 - Authorizing foreclosure on delinquent assessment liens, was submitted and read <br />in full. <br /> <br />The Finance Director recited the procedure used in developing the list of properties carrying de- <br />linquent assessments. He asked the Council to delay final action on the resolution until the <br />March 25, 1968 Council meeting to permit mailing of final notices to owners of affected properties. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen that notice be served to delinquent assessment accounts that <br />the delinquencies will be considered at a meeting on March 25, 1968 and that they be notified they <br />have an opportunity in the meantime to make appropriate payments. S. <br />National Bank, and repealing Resolution No. 1124 (Hedeen), was submitted and read in full. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris to adopt the resolution. Motion carried. <br /> <br />9 Resolution 1507 - Transmitting to Planning Commission for hearing March 5, 1968 rezoning requests <br />and zoning of newly annexed areas (Council hearing March 25, 1968), was submitted and read in full. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris to adopt the resolution. Motion carried. <br /> <br />10 Resolution 1508 - Renewal of variance at 27th Avenue and Oak Street to allow 55.5 count or 15 <br />units (Green), was submitted and read in full. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris to adopt the resolution.
