<br />1.:311 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />3/25/68 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />Resolution No. 1504 - Authorizing Foreclosure on Delinquent Assessment Liens, submitted and read <br />in full on February 26, 1968 and held pending final notice to owners of affected properties, was <br />brought back for consideration. <br /> <br />Copies of "Manual of Foreclosure Procedure" were distributed to Council members. The Finance Di- <br />rector said about half of the properties on the list have been removed since first reading of the <br />resolution, either by payment of the lien or arrangements for payment. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen to adopt the resolution. Rollcall vote. All councilmen <br />present voting aye,rrotion carried. <br /> <br />2 Resolution No. 1515 - Authorizing submission to voters at May 28, 1968 election a measure for <br />tax base increase to $3,557,460.00 from $2,357,460.00, was submitted and read in full. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen that the resolution be adopted. Rollcall vote. <br />councilmen present voting aye, motion carried. <br /> <br />All <br /> <br />The City Manager explained that because of the change at the State level in showing taxes computed on <br />true cash value, the tax base increase requested is shown in per dollar value instead of as a <br />millage rate. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />Resolution No. 1516 - Authorizing participation in Federal Rent. Supplement Program, was sub- <br />mitted and read in full. <br /> <br />The City Manager said this authorization was requested by Ya-Po-Ah Terrace and will permit a broader <br />use by those in need of low-rent housing rather than limiting participation to the elderly as is the <br />case in the recently authorized 300 additional units. Councilman Wingard asked if there was a limit <br />set on the amount of subsidy, and it was agreed the resolution would be held until information is <br />gathered on the dollar amount involved. <br /> <br />4 Resolution No. 1517 - Authorizing submission for recertification of Eugene's Workable Program <br />to the Department of Housing and Urban Development was submitted and read in full. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen that the resolution be adopted. Rollcall vote. All <br />councilmen present voting aye, motion carried. <br /> <br />5 Resolution No. 1518 - Transmitting to Planning Commission for hearing April 2, 1968 rezoning <br />and use variance requests (Council hearing April 22, 1968) was submitted and read in full. <br /> <br />Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen that the resolution be adopted. Rollcall vote.
