All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 15360. 1 Council Bill No. 8549 - Levying assessments for sanitary sewer in WS-67-l (bounded by north boundary of 6th Addition to Westward Ho and east and west extensions thereof; Sunshine Acres Road; Interstate 105; and Coburg Road) was submitted and read in full. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen that the bill be held over to the July 8, 1968 Council meet- ing to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties. Motion carried. 2 Council Bill No. 8550 - Levying assessments for paving Garfield Street from 6th Avenue to Roosevelt Boulevard, and 2nd Avenue from Garfield Street to Almaden Street; also sanitary sewer in area bounded by Edison Street, Southern Pacific hards and a line 160 feet east of Garfield Street, and by main line of Oregon Electric, was submitted and read in full. (This ordinance replaces C.B.8484 read the first time in full on May 13, 1968 'on which notices were sent in error.) Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassenthat the bill be held over to the June 10, 1968 Council meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties. Motion carried. RESOLUTIONS 3 Resolution No. 1532 - Accepting bid and awarding sale of $3,350,000 Bancroft Bonds, Series "W", to First National City Bank of New York at an effective interest rate of 4.334%, was submitted and read in full. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen to adopt the resolution. Rollcall vote. All councilmen present voting aye, motion carried. 4 Resolution No. 1533 - Authorizing Notice of Sale of $565,000 General Obligation Airport Imprnve- ment Bonds on June 24, 1968, was submitted and read in full. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen to adopt the resolution. Rollcall vote. All councilmen present voting aye, motion carried. 5 Resolution No. 1534 - Authorizing Notice of Sale of $750,000 General Obligation Park and Recrea- tion Bonds on June 24, 1968, was submitted and read in full. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen that the resolution be adopted. Rollcall vote. All councilmen present voting aye, motion carried. 6 Resolution No. 1535 - Authorizing application for Federal Grant ($436,500) for Sewage Treatment Plant Additions, was submitted and read in full. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen to adopt the resolution. Rollcall vote. All councilmen present voting aye, motion carried. 7 Resolution No. 1536 - Authorizing Dedication for Public Right-of-way portion of Myers Road, was submitted and read in full. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen to adopt the resolution. Rollcall vote. All councilmen present voting aye, motion carried. 8 Resolution No. 1537 - Authorizing Dedication for Sewer Easement on City-owned Property (Augusta Street, Floral Hill Drive area), was submitted and read in full. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen to adopt the resolution. Rollcall vote. All councilmen present voting aye, motion carried. 9 Resolution No. 1538 - Authorizing Quitclaim Deed on Electric Distribution Line Easement to John B. and Evangeline Winslow, McKenzie Highway (EWEB), was submitted and read in full. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen to adopt the resolution. Rollcall vote. All councilmen present voting aye, motion carried. 10 Resolution No. 1539 - Authorizing Exception to Zoning Ordinance 15158 to permit construction of apartment at 1859 Franklin Boulevard (Braatz), was submitted and read in full. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen that the resolution be adopted. Rollcall vote. All council- men present voting aye, motion carried. 11 Resolution No. 1540 - Transmitting to Planning Commission for hearing June 4, 1968 various amend- ments to Zoning Ordinance 15158 (Council hearing June 24, 1968), was submitted and read in full. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen to adopt the resolution. Rollcall vote. All councilmen present voting aye, motion carried.
