All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 15376. 1 Council Bill No. 8556 - Authorizing condemnation for Harlow Road right-of-way, Westward Ho, was submitted and read in full. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be read the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the second time by council bill number only. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the rules be suspended and the bill read the third time by council bill number only,with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the third time by council bill number only. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be approved and given final passage. Councilman Wingard returned to the meeting. 3 Council Bill No. 8558 - Levying assessments for sanitary sewer - Trunk "A" Bethel-Danebo (area bounded by Coos Bay Branch SP railroad, City limits, Barger Drive west of Belt Line and BPA line east of Belt Line, and by City limits on east), submitted and read in full. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be held over to the July 8, 1968 meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected pro~rties. MOtion carried. 4 Council Bill No. 8559 - Levying assessments for paving, sanitary and storm sewers in Mahalo Hills Addition; paving Mahalo Drive adjacent to Mahalo Hills Addition, and Larkwood Street from north boundary of Mahalo Hills Addition to south boundary of Pine Ridge Estates; sanitary sewer within 160 feet of Mahalo Drive and in area between north boundary of School District 4 property and south boundary of Pine Ridge Estates, was submitted and read in full. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be held Over to the July 8, 1968 Council meet- ing to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties. Motion carried. 5 Council Bill No. 8560 - Levying assessments for sanitary sewer in area within 160 feet of 20th Avenue from City View Street to 400 feet west, submitted and read in full. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the bill be held over to the July 8, 1968 Council meet- ing to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties. Motion carried. RESOLUTIONS 6 Resolution No. 1542 - Authorizing easement over City property (Amazon Park 29th to 34th) for un- derground distribution lines (EWEB), was submitted and read in full. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. 7 Resolution No. 1543 - Authorizing agreement with Soil Conservation Service for engineering work on Channel A-3, was submitted and read in full. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. 8 Resolution No. 1544 - Traffic: Parking prohibition McLean, Stone Crest, Brookside; and designating Stone Crest one-way, was submitted and read in full. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried.
