- ~- 42~~ ~ 10/28/68 -- --- ---- ... - --- -+----------.- ---~- -- - --~-------------_._--- ~ ----------- ~ -----------~---_._-~---_._-- -~- RESOLUTIONS . 1 Resolution No. 1587 - Authorizing abatement of property on Tyler Street between 15th Avenue and 16th Avenue (Suess), was submitted and read in full. Mr. Lassen moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris to adopt the resolution. Mr. Bob Suess reviewed the history of his acquisition of the property and his inquiry concerning possible vacation of Tyler Street at this location. He asked delay of the abatement because of the mortgage on the property. The City Attorney said notice of abatement was given to the mortgage holder. The report from the Building Department was read listing existing hazards on the property. Mr. Suess said he had con- siderable constructionmaterial stored in one of the buildings which would have to be moved, tha t the building is in good condition, but that other buildings on the property should be taken out. Dr. Purdy moved seconded by Mr. Lassen to table the resolution until Mr. Suess "and someone from the Building Department inspect the property and reach agreement on what is to be done. Motion carried, . Councilman McDonald voting no. It was 'understood Mr. Suess would make arrangements with the Building Department on Monday, Novem- ber 4, 1968, to inspect the property in question. 2 Resolution No. 1588 - Calling hearing November 25, 1968 re: Abatement on Barger Drive and Empire . Park Drive (Graville), was submitted and read in full. . Mr. Lassen moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris to adopt the resolution. Motion carried. 3 Resolution No. 1589 - Dedicating for public right-of-way a street in Terrace View Subdivision was submitted and read in full. Mr. Lassen moved seconded by Mrs. Lauris to adopt the resolution. Motion carried.
