All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declaredpasse~dand numbered 15501. 1 Council Bill No. 8685 - Authorizing closure of 10th Avenue from Oak Street to alley between Oak Street and Willamette Street during construction of 10th Avenue and OakStreet parking garage was sub- mitted and read in full. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen that the bill be read the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the second time by council bill number only. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen that the rules be suspended and the bill read the third time by 'council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 15502. , 2 Council Bill No. 8686 - Levying assessments for paving, sanitary and storm sewers in Cow Palace 1st Addition; also sanitary sewer in area bounded by Goodpasture Island Road, 1st Addition to Cow Palace, and line which is northerly extension of west boundary of 1st Addition to Cow Palace; was submitted and read in full. -. Mr. Anderson moved seconded by Mr. Lassen that the bill be held over to the January 27, 1969 Council meeting to allow proper notice of a,ssessment to be given owners of affected properties. Motion carried. . RESOLUTIONS 3 Resolution No. 1581 - Authorizing abatement of property on Tyler Street between 15th and 16th Avenues (Suess), submitted and read in full on October 28, 1968 and held over to this meeting to allow inspection of property by Mr. Suess and a building inspector, was brought back for considera- tion as amended to authorize abatement to be accomplished by July 1, 1969.
