Motion carried. Mohr <br />abstained. <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />Resolution No. 1620 - Initiate Annexation College Crest Area was submitted and read in full. The <br />Planning Commission recommended that annexation be approved since the area is considered an extreme <br />health hazard. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Dr. Purdy that the resolution be adopted. Motion carried. <br /> <br />6 Resolution No. 1621 - Repeal Resolution 416 and'548, Parking zones 6th and Taylor. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Dr. Purdy to adopt the resolution repealing resolutions 416 and 548. <br />. Motion carried. <br /> <br />. The City Manager explained the procedure proposed by the Council in the Kendall Ford rezoning matter <br />and that the County has set a time for its hearing on January 24, 1969, which will not allow time for <br />the procedure planned by the City Council and Planning Commission. Therefore, the Planning Commission <br />has requested a joint meeting January 20th'at 12:00 noon in the Eugene Hotel to consider the matter <br />and perhaps eve1ve a recommendation to the County Commissioners. <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />There was further discussion on the problems of sufficient notification. In answer to a suggestion <br />from Dr. Purdy that notification be given at least seven days prior to a hearing, the Manager stated <br />he will ask Wendy Ray to review the procedure and try to set up standards. <br /> <br />Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned to January 27, 1969. <br /> <br />/k( --??r <br /> <br />Hugh McKinley <br /> <br />* boundary of Churchill Highlands Addition, was submitted 'and 'read in full.
