Ab~tement, Partially Demolished Building at 23 West 27th - Public Works Department recommended <br />aoatement of a partially demolished building which constitutes a ijazard. <br /> <br />Dr. Purdy moved seconded by Mrs. Hayward to abate the property. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. McDonald moved seconded by Dr. Purdy to approve Item 8 of the Committee report and to call a <br />public hearing. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />9. Parking Restriction, 19th and Patterson - Traffic Engineer has recommended 'establishment of <br />"No Parking at Anytime" restr~ction on the north side of 19th Avenue from Patterson.to a <br />point 94 feet easterly of the center line of Patterson. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hayward moved second~d by Mr. Gribskov to approve this restriction. Annual Conference of Regional Councils, San Francisco, March 9-11, 1969 - Mrs. Bealc;in- <br />dicated she would attend this conference if possible. <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />b. Letter of Appreciation re: Removal of Parking, 29th Avenue - Cascade Manor Residents for- <br />warded a resolution indicating parking restriction has result~d in reduced traffic and less <br />hazardous crossing for pedestrians, and expressing appreciation. . <br /> <br />Mr. McDonald moved seconded by Dr. Purdy that item lOa and lOb of the Committee report be received <br />and filed~ Motion carried. <br /> <br />11. Overpark, 10th and Oak, Change Order - The City Manager explained that a change order submitted <br />by N.G. Jacobson & Associates, Inc. for elimination of or substition of items on the elevator <br />would decrease the amount of the contract by $4,265.00. The Manager asked that this change <br />order be approved, subject to possibility of substitution of another type elevator which W041d <br />be less expensive. <br /> <br />Mr. Wingard moved seconded by Dr. Rurdy to approve the change order, subject to approval of engineer <br />Jacobson. Rollcall vote.
