<br />e <br /> <br />.~ <br />01~3 <br /> <br />4/28/69 <br /> <br />(~~ <br /> <br />--0 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />ORDINANCES <br /> <br />Council Bill No. 8810 - Equal Opportunity Ordinance - See Item 1, Page 133 of Minutes of <br />April 28, 1969 for action taken. <br /> <br />Council Bill No. 8811 - Authorizing issuance and sale of $1,190,000 of General Obligation <br />Improvement Bonds, Series "Y", of the City of Eugene, Oregon and directing that they be adver- <br />tised for sale, all in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 223, Oregon Revised Statutes, <br />commonly known as the "Bancroft Bonding Act" as amended, was submitted an'd read in full. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald that the bill be read the second time by council <br />bill number only with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously, and the <br />bill was read the second time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald that the rules be.suspended and the bill be read <br />the third time by council bill number only with unanimous consent of the Council. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered <br />15634. <br /> <br />Council Bill No. 8819 - Providing for the issuance and sale of Three Hundred Sixty Thousand <br />Dollars ($360,000) of General Obligation Laurelwood Park Bonds of the city of Eugene Oregon, <br />being a b~nd issue authorized by Charter Amendment enacted by the legal voters of said City at <br />a General Election held November 5, 1968, was submitted and read in full. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. McDonald that the bill be read the second time by council bill <br />number only with unaninous consent of the Council.
