No. 8941 - Levying Assessments Conger Street Area - Public Works Director asked that the record show that authority was given to split Jensen assessment into two parcels and allow him to sign contract on portion taken up by Highway 126. In Bethel~Danebo area, split assessments are allowed ... until State takes property. "'J~"'J', C.B. 8956 - Outdoor Burning Ban - There was Council discussion regarding the definition of I fire in campsites in fire pits provided. Assistant City Attorney said this could not be construed as a private back yard. Dr. Purdy felt a bonfire at home should be allowed. After further discussion, Ordinance was approved without amendment. Council Bill No. 8965 - Levying assessments for paving streets and sanitary and storm sewers in Manning Heights Subdivision was submitted and read in full. 1) Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Mr. Mc onald that the bill be held over to the September 9, 1969 Council e meeting to allow proper notice of ass~ssment to be given owners of affected properties.
