Ii ,I I I On Page 5, Section 6, it was suggested the words "President and Vice President" be inserted after "Executive Session". On page 7, "List of Candidates," it was suggested the Budget Commission be "nominated," rather than "appointed." Page 9, 6b, beginning of third sentence, strike "In such event," starting sentence with "The counc i 1man. . . . " On Page 8, 3b, "Notice of Committee Appointments," the Mayor asked if it might not be possible to include notice of selection of committee members on the Agenda. It was decided the Agenda was public notice, and public notice should not be given before Council approval. It was decided the Mayor could send out a separate notice with the agenda. No change in wording is required. Mrs. Hayward said wording had been worked out in Section 3b to provide for written notice of executive sessions which were not announced at public meetings. Vote taken on motion as stated. Motion carried. 4. Study of Maintenance Shop Facilities - Space Utilization Associates is studying facilities for Lane County, since the County must move its maintenance shop. Manager asked for authorization to proceed with a contract for a joint study, since the City four shops, all of which are in need of more space. Possible combination of city- county facilities will be investigated. Approximate cost will be $6,000. has Councilman Teague felt such a study would be beneficial to the City. Dr. Purdy moved seconded by Mr. Gribskov that the Council authorize the City Manager to contract with SUA to study shop facilities. Motion carried. Assessment Segregation, Phil Gilmore - Owner requests segregation to enable him to sell a parcel of his property. Staff recommends approval. Mrs. Hayward moved seconded by Dr. Purdy tha t the Council approve,"a segrega tion of assessment requested by Phil Gilmore. Motion carried. McDonald moved seconded by Mr. Teague to approve Item 5 of the Committee report. councilmen present voting aye, the motion carried. Rollcall vote. 6. Correspondence Mayor Anderson meeting. - CLPC by-laws require appointment of members prior to January 27, 1970. is now Council representative. Action should be taken at the next regular Assessed Valuation Resulting from Annexation - A memo from the Director of Planning states changes in population, assessed valuation and area resulting from annexation' of College Crest area. It has been determined no reapportionment of wards will be requiTIed as a result of this annexation. The effective date of the annexation. The effective date of the annexation was December 2, 1969.
