" <br /> <br />On Page 8, 3b, "Notice of Committee Appointments," the Mayor asked if it might not <br />be possible to include notice of selection of committee members on the Agenda. It <br />was decided the Agenda was public notice, and public notice should not be given before <br />Council approval. It was decided the Mayor could send out a separate notice with <br />the agenda. No change in wording is required. <br /> <br />Mrs. Hayward said wording had been worked out in Section 3b to provide for written notice of executive <br />sessions which were not announced at public meetings. <br /> <br />Vote taken on motion as stated. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Study of Maintenance Shop Facilities - Space Utilization Associates is studying <br />facilities for Lane County, since the County must move its maintenance shop. Manager <br />asked for authorization to proceed with a contract for a joint study, since the City <br />four shops, all of which are in need of more space. Possible combination of city- <br />county facilities will be investigated. Approximate cost will be $6,000. <br /> <br />has <br /> <br />Councilman Teague felt such a study would be beneficial to the City. <br /> <br />Dr. Purdy moved seconded by Mr. Gribskov that the Council authorize the City Manager <br />to contract with SUA to study shop facilities.
