' <br /> <br />In answer to Mrs. Hayward's question regarding signs at the ballpark, the Manager said the <br />staff had a number of meetings with management, and they are planning to increase their <br />off-st,reet parking area and planning to readjust the lights. They will add to police patrol <br />of the area, and plan to appeal to the citizenry to control their litter. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Auditorium Association Report - In answer to Dr. Purdy's request for a report on the Auditor- <br />ium Association report, the Manager said this report will be scheduled on the March 4 meeting, <br />and will be discussed at that time. <br /> <br />ORDINANCES <br /> <br />.. <br />'-W <br /> <br />Council Bill No. 9074 - Levying assessments for paving 2nd Avenue from Jackson Street <br />to Van Buren Street; and Jackson Street from 2nd Avenue to 3rd Avenue was submitted and read in <br />full the first time on January 26, 1970, and held over to this meeting to allow proper notice <br />of assessment to be given owners of affected properties, and is brought back for consideration <br />with no written protests on file. <br /> <br />Mr. McDonald moved seconded by Mr. Teague that the bill be read the second time by council <br />bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council.
