The
hearing process could be started and the hearing continued to another meeting.

e

The City Manager said the traffic information and analysis would probably be complete by that time,
but if it involved an alternative facility or expenditure of funds and decision as to responsibility,
this would have to be worked out later. If the facts are on hand by June 29, the Council can hear
the public, and then discuss agreements or controlling arrangements which might have an effect on
final decisions.' '

Mrs. Beal felt many of these details could be worked out after vacation of the street.

I

Mr. Hedgeth requested that information on any plans be made available to the public in ample time
before the hearing.

\1
[\
a
p
II
II
I'
-II
Ii
"
I:
Ii
I
il
II
[I
II
II
"
'I
L
I
i
I
I'
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I,
Ii

It was the consensus that the Council would not be in a position to act at the hearing on June 29,
but that they could look at the preliminary information at that time.

Mr. Teague moved seconded by Dr. Purdy that a public hearing be called June 29 on Vacation of 13th
Avenue between Alder Street and Agate Street.
