<br /> than publicly, and that the amount requested would be recovered through increased taxes returned

<br /> Mayor Anderson agreed, and felt perhaps This would be a good time to formulate such a policy.

<br /> The City Manager agreed it would be proper to arrive at-a policy, but reminded the Council
<br /> the request should be considered at this meeting, since the time schedule was based on necessary
<br /> information for FHA.
<br /> Mr. Unruh said firm figures for construction should be prepared for a meeting in two weeks
<br /> but they could delay input on this information until October 4. If the Council could establish
<br /> a firm amount in two weeks, this would give them sufficient time. However, they were in need
<br /> of engineering documents for road construction so that these could be included in the bid price.
<br /> e Mr. McDonald and Mr. Teague moved to accept the petition and direct public works department to
<br /> proceed with engineering and establish a cost of not more than $1,530, based upon best information
<br /> at this time. Motion carried.
<br /> Mr. Teague left the meeting.

<br /> Planning Director suggested that the matter of guidelines concerning su~sidy for non-profit
<br /> I corporations should be referred to the Joint Housing Committee.
<br /> Mr. McDonald and Dr. Purdy moved direct this matter to the Joint Housing Committee, and instruct
<br /> staff to render assistance to that committee. Motion Carried.
