II II ,i Ii ,I Mrs. Beal called attention to the minutes of the Committee meeting of December 30, and requested that Item 14 be corrected to show that the City did support the bills going before the legislature regarding air pollution. She was concerned that the City was attempting to get other endorsements and this should be made clear. Regarding Item F on the Agenda, Mr. Williams was concerned with the wording of the ordinance. The City Attorney agreed that it did leave a little to be desired and suggested deletion of the words ttor permitted to run at largett would clarify the ordinance. Since there was still some confusion, the City Attorney suggested the Council hold the ordinance to give it further consideration. The ordinance was held. e Rollcall vote taken. ORDINANCES 1 The following council bills were submitted and read in full the first time on December 14, 1970, held over to this meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties, and are brought back for consideration with no written protests on file. COUNCIL BILL NO. 9317 - Levying assessments for paving Madison Street from 30th Avenue to 31st Avenue was submitted and read in full the first time on December 14, 1970 andhheld over to this meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties, and are brought back for consideration with no written protests on file. Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the bill be read the sec0nd time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the second time by council bill number only. Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the bill be read the third time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanim0usly and the bill was read the third time by council bill number only. Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the bill be approved and given final passage. Rollcall vote.
