<br />"'Ill <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />450 <br /> <br />1/11/71 <br /> <br />.1 <br /> <br />q <br />!l <br />I' <br />,\ <br />I. <br /> <br />Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr to act as indicated to accept, approve, affirm or file the <br />items listed above. <br /> <br />II <br />II <br />,i <br />Ii <br />,I <br /> <br />Mrs. Beal called attention to the minutes of the Committee meeting of December 30, and requested <br />that Item 14 be corrected to show that the City did support the bills going before the legislature <br />regarding air pollution. She was concerned that the City was attempting to get other endorsements <br />and this should be made clear. <br /> <br />Regarding Item F on the Agenda, Mr. Williams was concerned with the wording of the ordinance. <br />The City Attorney agreed that it did leave a little to be desired and suggested deletion of the <br />words ttor permitted to run at largett would clarify the ordinance. <br /> <br />Since there was still some confusion, the City Attorney suggested the Council hold the ordinance to <br />give it further consideration. The ordinance was held. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Rollcall vote taken. All councilmen present voting aye, the motion carried. <br /> <br />;,J ~ ,..! <br /> <br />ORDINANCES <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />The following council bills were submitted and read in full the first time on December 14, 1970, <br />held over to this meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected <br />properties, and are brought back for consideration with no written protests on file. There was <br />no one present to speak for er against any item. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BILL NO. 9317 - Levying assessments for paving Madison Street from 30th Avenue to <br />31st Avenue was submitted and read in full the first time on December 14, 1970 andhheld over to <br />this meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties, and <br />are brought back for consideration with no written protests on file. <br /> <br />Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the bill be read the sec0nd time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the <br />second time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the bill be read the third time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of the Council. Motion carried unanim0usly and the bill was read the <br />third time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the bill be approved and given final passage. Rollcall <br />vote. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 16125. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BILL NO. 9318 - Levying assessments for paving and sanitary sewer on Obie Street from <br />11th Avenue north was submitted and read in full the first time December 14, 1970 and held over to <br />this meeting to allow proper notice of assessment to be given owners of affected properties, and <br />brought back for consideration with no written protests on file. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the bill be read the second time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of the Council. All councilmen present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 16126. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BILL NO. 9319 - Levying assessments for paving Cheshire Street from Adams Street to <br />Jackson Street; and Jackson Street from Cheshire Avenue to Lewis Avenue was submitted and read in <br />full the first time Decemeer 14, 1970 and held over to this meeting to allow proper notice of assess- <br />ment to be given owners of affected properties and brought back for consideration with no written <br />protests on file. <br /> <br />Mr. Teague moved seconded by Mr. Mohr that the bill be read the second time by council bill number <br />only, with unanimous consent of the Council..
